2011 Library Builds – In need of Books!

During 2011 we’ll be building ten libraries in schools around rural Kumasi, Ghana. Teaming up with uk charity Book-Cycle to deliver a container of 40,000 books.

Do you have any spare or unwanted books? Could they be of more use in a primary school library in Ghana?

Find out what we need and how to donate them here.

2011 Plans

Collecting our 40,000 books, planks of wood, hammers and nails we’ll be heading to rural villages in Nkawie & Nahinee, Ghana.

With volunteers from Loughborough and Manchester student unions we’ll set out to build 10 libraries in primary schools listed by local education authorities to be lacking in student resources. Read more
